First Art Show

A sculpture I made in my 3-D Design class was accepted into the Undergrad Show in the George Caleb Bingham Gallery located in the art building. The show is March 3rd through March 13th, with a reception on March 6th from 4 to 6. I am really excited about it!

I found out by not finding out... they only e-mailed the people who didn't make it in the show. Since I never received an e-mail on the 3rd, I assumed I had made it. So today I stopped by to see if it was really in there. It was! In fact, it was the first thing you saw when you walked in the door!

A view from the other side - the entrance is the door on the right.

The weekend weather was so nice, I even opened up a bunch of windows to air out the house. Of course, that was long lived...

  1. CONGRATULATIONS!! I am soooo impressed!! How exciting for you. Who knew a bunch of dollar store clothes pins would turn out to be such an awesome piece of art.!? This is a perfect example of how "one mans trash is another mans treasure". You sure turned those clothes pins in to a treasure:) Too bad "Twisted Christa" couldn't be there to watch over the clothes pin sculpture, but I'm glad she's here with me. I talk to her and she gives me the same blank stare that you often do when I'm talking to you. hehe
    I sure miss you:(
