...3...2...1...Happy New Year!
2008 was quite a year!
January started in Texas with friends and family. After traveling back to Columbia, I started my 6th semester of college, and my new job with the University Bookstore marketing department.
In March, I had a piece of art work in a juried art show, and I sewed my first tote bag.
April brought a much needed hair cut. I took off about 6 inches of my hair, and I helped my friend Jessica celebrate her 22nd birthday and Steven celebrate his 21st.
In May I took Steven to St. Louis to watch the Cubs play, and we celebrated 2 years together.
July was good month. I could not wait for the fireworks. Unfortunately, the sucked. I also went antiquing, and picked up my beloved red bowl. I traveled to Texas to visit with my family, and my sister and I got our pictures taken by Dee. Construction in our office started this month, too.
In August I celebrated my 22nd birthday in Mercer, WI. I had a wonderful 5 day vacation, then we went to Chicago to my cousin's wedding. I started my 7th semester of college.
In October I hand made vegetable egg rolls, and finally had my house clean and put together the way I wanted. Steven and I went to a corn maze, and carved pumpkins. We dressed up and went out on Halloween.
In November we found the kittens. And ended up keeping one. I traveled home for Thanksgiving and walked in the Turkey Trot. I also worked really hard on the Water for Christmas project.
December brought cold and snow, and fun times with Elliott. Lots of studying for finals, and cleaning and packing for winter break. Shopping for gifts, and spending lots of time with family.
Here's to 2009. Here's to successful graduations, luck in finding jobs, and lots and lots of fun.
Happy New Year!
