spring flea market

This morning I got up bright and early to explore the Artichoke Annie's Spring Flea Market. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was hoping to find some gems.

These aren't the best photos... but I snapped some quick one with my phone so I could show you the goods!

{an aluminum strainer, my grandpa used one like this to make jam and jelly}

{locker baskets... double the size of the others I own, less than half the cost!}

{a piece of trim molding - it was only a dollar, I couldn't pass it up}

{my favorite finds of the day... a pair of wooden folding chairs from The Seed Box}
{ps: I had seen The Seed Box's website before going to the market!}

I made a quick trip out of it. I only brought the cash I was willing to spend, walked through each booth quickly, and avoided eye contact, haha. I get uncomfortable when people are trying really hard to sell me something I really have no intention of buying - I just wanted to look! Some booths were good, others not so much. But that's a flea market I suppose!

I was home after an hour, ate breakfast, cleaned up, and went to the Mizzou softball game. The super regionals are being hosted here in Columbia, and Mizzou beat Oregon today. They just have to beat them again tomorrow and Mizzou is headed to the College World Series!

Hopefully I'll sleep in a little tomorrow! I need to use the 3-day weekend to relax a little!

  1. Oh my gosh! What awesome finds! I'm super envious, there's something so lovely and industrial about wire baskets.

    Have a fab week ahead
