I made a jalapeno popper dip last weekend for the small football watching party we held. Of course, I was at the handmade market, so I walked in the door after everyone had already polished off the dip - apparently in .75 seconds.
I originally found the recipe on another blog, but I changed it up so it was a little easier. Here is my version.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine everything except the bread crumbs. I worked with the cream cheese and mayo first to make sure there weren't any huge lumps. Spread it evenly into a dish and top with the bread crumbs. I used fresh jalapenos and jarred red peppers.
I added more of some things to make up for the lack of others. I used my 1.75 quart le creuset baking dish that I got at Marshall's. I don't think I showed that to you yet, but you can guarantee that it matches my other green pieces. Everyone told me it was amazing. I don't do spicy foods, so I didn't even try it. Not that I could have since it was gone by the time I got home. But I'll take that as a compliment. : )
I need to load more items into my etsy shop, but it is dark by the time I get home from work so I have been having trouble getting photos. Hopefully I'll have some sunlight tomorrow so I can get everything else photographed and listed.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Winter is arriving here... it's supposed to be 48 tomorrow. Brr!
